Neurological impairments can influence many body systems affecting a child’s posture, movement and ability to play. Physiotherapy is effective in helping control the negative changes that can occur and helps to promote movement through muscle strengthening, learning optimal movement patterns, balance and maintaining muscle length.

Louise has worked extensively with children who have physical disability. She has experience treating children who have Intrathecal baclofen pumps (ITB pumps), post Botulinum Toxin (Botox) injections and multilevel orthopaedic surgery. She is also experienced in serial casting for contracture management.
